After School Clubs
Small Tutor Groups ensure every pupil benefits from a combination of 1:1 attention & group interaction. We work in support of Music Directors at top London Prep & Alpha Plus schools delivering Music Scholars Clubs, General Musicianship & After School Music Clubs at all Key Stages. Schools include Chepstow House, Wetherby Prep and Eaton Square. Using the highly acclaimed Chelsea Quavers series of Music Puzzles©, pupils are taught to read, write, perform and transcribe music and develop aural & sight reading skills.
We assess & prepare pupils for ABRSM Theory exams (including accelerated ABRSM Grade 5 Theory tuition), Sight Reading & Aural syllabus for ABRSM Practical exams, Music GCSE, A Level, Music Scholarship auditions to leading UK independent schools, and Conservatoire auditions. ABRSM Exams | GCSE & A Level Music
We prepare pupils for all ABRSM Theory exams, develop & hone Aural, Sight Reading & Sight Singing skills which form part of the ABRSM practical exam syllabus. We also provide Music GCSE & A Level revision tuition.
For a week at Easter, Summer and Christmas children engage in a variety of fun, educational and age-specific activities including performing in a steel pan band, djembe drumming and drum kit, singing, beatboxing, composition, performance of a variety of orchestral instruments, piano, improvisation with our Tutors on a variety of instruments including clarinet, bassoon, violin, trombone, trumpet, develop reading, writing and transcription skills. Projects include works from a variety of composers and studying the orchestral families. Each pupil progresses at his/her own pace and small Tutor groups ensure the highest standard of 1:1 attention.
