NEW ID checks for exam candidates from January 2020
Candidates taking ABRSM Theory exams Grades 5-8, Practical exams Grades 6-8, the Jazz Practical exam Grade 5 & the ARSM Diploma will need to bring a form of photo ID to their exam. If this is applicable to your child, we shall keep you fully informed.
ABRSM Theory exams are sat once a term throughout the academic year
Spring 2019 A | 5pm Wednesday 6 March (entry deadline 25 January)
Summer 2019 B | 10am Saturday 15 June (entry deadline 10 May)
Autumn 2019 C | 5pm Wednesday 6 November (entry deadline 27 September)

* Fees include a £15 administration fee which includes: appraisal for readiness to sit the exam, liaison between parents and/or schools, applications made directly with ABRSM, managing special needs pupils, preparation of Exam Packs, postage, & PayPal fee
Theory Exam Applications
Chelsea Quavers manages the applications process on behalf of its pupils. Exam fees are payable by the parents in advance of any applications made. We add a £15 administrative fee in respect of seeking parental permission, making the application, ensuring registration with the DofE (Department of Education), liaising with ABRSM, parents and schools, delivery of results and certificates. We also liaise with directly with ABRSM in cases of special need requirements, the rare instance of requesting a re-mark, or copy certificates.

Practical Exam Applications
Chelsea Quavers Music School prepares pupils for the Aural and Sight Reading elements of the Practical exam only. Your child’s Instrumental Teacher is responsible for making the applications to sit the Practical exam.
